Specially formulated for mushroom cultivation. Our Compost is a manure-less substrate compost blend that out performs manure or manure/straw mixes. Our compost is formulated from a mixture of proprietary substrates, hydrated to perfect moisture content and then pasteurized. Our Compost is ready right out of the bag with no further preparation, simply add spawn, mix and then add to cropping container and once colonized, you can add our casing. Our Compost should be used immediately or frozen for over a year or it can be stored for 3-6 months if kept cool. Packaged in 10 pound bags with professional filter patch - approx 12-18 quarts.
